Where Did She Come Up With That Name?

I know that’s what “y’all” are wonderin’! Her name is Wendi, where did the name BEE come from and why is BEE all capitalized? It’s intentional, I promise!
I have a confession to make, when people told me to start selling my cookies, one of the biggest things that held me back was the fact that I couldn’t think of a creative name. My SIL has a much more interesting story and, although I am jealous of her creative name, I am NOT jealous of her claim to fame…
Anyway, I tried NOT to think about a name because often things just come to me. At least that’s how it used to happen when I was younger and got more sleep at night. I would try and convince you that I was losing sleep, lying awake at night trying to think of the name but that would be totally lying. What I can tell you is that part of the reason BEE’s is what it is, is one of the reasons I am awake at night. Say that over quickly five times while standing on one foot…
I wanted my “shop” to be dedicated to my kids in some way. They are the reason I make cookies. If I didn’t have kids there would be no one to say:
“Does that have eggs [can I lick it]?”
“Did you mess up a cookie yet [can I eat it]?”
So I used their initials: IEE and then I couldn’t possibly come up with a word that used those three letters. I tried, I swear, I really did! If you don’t already know, I have a 5yo, a 3yo and a 5mo. The reason I am up at night is the 5 month old who thinks sleep is overrated and doesn’t realize his mama has cookies to bake!
Recently, my 5yo decided that she doesn’t want to be called Isabella and that Bella is sufficient (it takes too long to write on her papers she claims!). Thank you Isabella for deciding to be “Bella” for now…it made things much more convenient.
