When you're just about to turn six and you ask your dad, "When are we going to move again?", It signals a problem. In six years Big E has lived in three different states and three different houses. He's gone to three different schools and easily made new friends each time. He's the middle child and he has no choice but to be easy going and flexible. The good news is, we don't have plans to move anywhere anytime soon but I am 100% sure these kids don't believe that. Everytime they've gotten settled, we uproot them and move. It's not just a move to the next town or a move to a bigger house, it's to another state or across the country. So, our moves explain why Big E has had few birthday parties because our moves usually coincide with his birthday-one year we actually moved ON his birthday!
To say Big E is obsessed with Legos is an understatement. His walk-in closet is a walk in "Lego Room" and he counted down the days until the Lego Movie came out. "Everything is Awesome" to this guy! So when I told him that finishing kindergarten and living in the same house for three years was a reason to choose his closest friends and have a party, he chose...a Lego party! BIG SHOCKER! Good thing he is predictable!
After taking a class with Bricks 4 Kidz I knew they'd be the perfect choice! What more could a kid ask for than playing with Legos for 1.5 hours!

We ordered a cake from For Goodness Cakes (a family favorite) and she put Legos on the cake.

I spent the majority of my week making a banner and the party favors, of course all Lego themed.

Party Favors: t-shirt, lego cookie, brick candy and "lego man poop"

I'm pretty sure the boys all had a blast! We are certainly going to have to try to come up with something a little more creative next year!
